Overall, Wesker is a sociopath, and in the end, he's probably never going to have a solid, steady relationship with anyone, let alone ever get married or have kids. He's too bent on himself and his own goals to even consider a, in the words of Jack Sparrow, ma-ri-aje, and probably deems it too complicated of a matter, unless there's some gain he can get from it personally, to ever undertake. Now, that being said, it doesn't stop us drooling, rabid fangirls, and of course, fanguys of the yaoi nature, from daydreaming and coming up with scenarios where our dear Wesker is placed in situations that portray and more, well, physical aspect, or even emotional one, with another character.
That being said, and with my own obsessive fangirl self, I've decided to include this section of relationships, which is really no more than a blown up version of a previous section I had under psychology, but in the end, I just couldn't resist.
On a final note, before I go ranting away about how well or not well Wesker would fit with another character, I also would like to point out that several, several times have I seen fan fictions depicting Wesker with an OC (or, if you're not into the fan fiction lingo, Original Character), and I just wanted to say, here and now, that I think Wesker would probably be best suited for an OC more than he would with a character from the series. The reason being is that he's probably done something bad to every single character in the series, and ultimately, that doesn't spell a nice relationship to me. Then again it also depends on how well Wesker is depicted in said fan fiction, but with that, I shall digress.
Relationships w/Females in the Series
Wesker/Ada: This seems to be the most popular pairing of the possible Wesker Relationships as far as girls and romantic interests go, and in my opinion, also the most unlikely. The reason I say unlikely is because Ada is is her own woman, and much like Wesker, she's out to do her own thing and get her own goals done. Ada is hard to understand, but the best thing that you CAN understand about her is that she definitely has her own way of going about getting things done. Not to mention that in Resident Evil 4, she has betrayed Wesker, and that to me does not spell romance or any other kind of benevolent type of relationship situation. If the two ever had anything at all, it would have probably just been a series of self gratifying experiences with nothing else attached.
Wesker/Jill: This coupling seems to upset most people, but when looked at logically, it actually has some substance to it. Of course, Wesker doesn't give a rats ass about Jill more than likely, viewed her as expendable along with the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. team, but there are several theories that can be birthed to explain a possible relationship between them, though I do doubt that any kind of relationship they could have would be an always friendly one at all.
Wesker/Rebecca: Of all the Resident Evil characters, no two characters are as completely opposite as Rebecca and Wesker. Where Rebecca is nearly the epitome of sweetness and helpfulness, honest and virtuous, Wesker is deceitful and uncaring, and he's never open and honest completely. But because of this, because of Rebecca's proverbial innocence and Wesker's penchant for doing everything in an underhanded fashion, I can actually see a possible relationship there that would be acceptable. After all, opposites attract, right?
Wesker/Claire: Oh boy...most of the time, when I see fictions depicting these two, I run and hide in fear. The reason is that they usually have some extent of rape in them. I do not view Wesker as a rapist and I never will. Now, surely, he might do it to cause Claire pain and ultimately Chris, but VERY not likely. It's not a practical means of gaining revenge in that instance, and, well, I'm fairly sure Wesker's confidence and ego make him think he's the man that no woman can resist, so why should he have to rape anyone. This is the other most unlikely coupling in the series.
Wesker/Alexia: No...just...no. For one thing, getting away from Wesker for a moment, Alexia states it clearly that he's unworthy of her viruses power, and therefore, unworthy of her since she injected herself with said virus, meaning she must've thought she was worthy enough for it. True, they're both antagonists, and they're both into viral research, but they're also both sociopaths Not to mention Alexia was in a stasis tank for most of her life, and the age difference is fairly significant. heh.
Wesker/Sherry: Sherry, being the daughter of his colleague, William Birkin, seems to hold a special interest to Wesker. He states in his second report that "There's something about this little girl..." but what he never elaborates on. As time goes on though, perhaps we'll find out what it is. Besides this, it's hard to tell what kind of relationship the two ever had, if any, and we probably won't know until further games are released and more information is revealed.
Wesker/Anette: Since you never see these two together in the series, and Wesker never mentions Anette in any of his reports, I think it's safe to say that one, he had no regards for her, and two, didn't find her to be exceptionally important. So I'll fill in a few blanks with my own theories here. Anette is very protective of her husband, so it's reasonable to say she was probably fanatical about his work. The kind of idol worship she gave William might have been appealing to Wesker in his own ideas of a relationship, but more than likely not the way she seemed to dote over him, and how she seemed to have the same mentality in a few ways in that she was more book-smart than otherwise. So this, in my estimate, makes me think that Wesker didn't really care for her too much at all.
Relationships w/Males in the Series
This section covers both straight and yaoi relationships even though I'm not a shipper of yaoi at ALL. So please don't expect me to go into great detail when it comes to yaoi.
Wesker/Chris: Everyone knows for a fact that Wesker and Chris hate each other seriously. This all came about, of course, during the mansion incident when Chris ruined Wesker's plans. Ever since, Wesker has despised Chris and wanted him dead. Before the fact, though, Wesker had high interests in Chris's abilities as a fighter and a marksman, the main reason why he chose Chris to collect combat data from the creatures in the mansion, not to mention the Tyrant.
Yaoi: Because of their hate relationship, these two aren't really fitting as a couple when it comes to Yaoi. The absolute only reason I could think of that anyone would get a kick out of them being gay together is that they hate each other, and therefore, it's some kind of perverse enjoyment in getting pleasure from someone you despise so much, something like forbidden fruit. And that, personally, makes my skin crawl. Bleh.
Wesker/Birkin: Of all the Resident Evil characters, no one has more of a benevolent relationship with Wesker, at least, on the surface anyway, than William Birkin. Though it's also apparent from their interactions in Resident Evil Zero that Wesker is, by far, the more 'people-wise' of the two, while Birkin seems to be the more 'book-wise'. But even though they were colleagues for so long, and their work led them into many underhanded situations together, there's nothing that says either one of them wouldn't betray the other for the right price, and if anything, suggests it to the positive.
Yaoi: These two are probably the best suited for each other of the Wesker Yaoi possibilities. But it also might be easier to say that Birkin's bisexual since he did get married and have a child. But...yeah...not gonna touch on that subject anymore than that...ick...x.x
Wesker/Leon: Oddly enough, Wesker and Leon have never met face to face. But they do know about each other, and saying they did meet face to face, the result probably wouldn't be much different that Chris, except that Wesker wouldn't be as interested in actually hurting Leon as he would Chris. Instead, Wesker would just kill him more than likely, no questions asked. Leon is yet another thorn in Wesker's side, as Wesker refers to him as a Government Lap Dog, and tells Ada that they can do without the extra distraction.
Yaoi: I can't see much of a yaoi relationship here unless it's something like the one I mentioned about with Wesker and Chris.
Wesker/Krauser: The ultimate boss/employee relationship where evil is concerned. Employee follows orders to a tee, and his boss just considers him as expendable. Krauser seems to be the devoted soldier for the most part, ready to follow Wesker's orders, and seems to be either trying to impress him, from how he tells Ada that neither himself nor Wesker trust her, as well as his note that he'd send her in a body bag along with Leon to Wesker, or that he's just trying to carry out his orders and ensure his own livelihood. But despite this, Wesker refers to Krauser as an expendable grunt, and while he seems a bit disheartened at having lost an asset, clearly isn't too concerned.
Yaoi: Because of the nature of these two men, both of them being inhuman, and both of them being fairly dominant in nature, it's really hard to see a relationship between the two at all. But if you're a yaoi shipper, which I'm by far not, then it might prove an interesting couple to tackle as far as the how, why, and what are concerned. But yeah, I'm not touching this subject with a ten foot pole. It scares me ._. .
Wesker/Barry: When Wesker was running his little stint in the RPD, Barry became his pawn, as Wesker kidnapped his wife and children and used them against Barry to get him to do what he wanted. Because of this, it's fairly certain that Barry has a reasonably deep loathing for Wesker, but on the other side, Wesker doesn't care for Barry and doesn't hate him or like him. He just doesn't care for him, though he would kill him if he had the chance more than likely.
Yaoi: No. Just no.
Wesker/Billy: In Resident Evil Zero, Wesker and Billy never met, but Wesker does know of Billy, though perhaps not by name. Therefore these two never had a relationship, so, assuming that Billy survived his way out of the forest after he and Rebecca split paths, it's hard to say what might have went down because we never see the two in any other game again. So, if Billy is still alive, there's no telling what he's doing, and if Wesker even remembers him, no telling if he wants him dead or not, though I'm fairly sure it's Wesker's intent to see any survivor of Raccoon City and related events killed off.
Yaoi: Since they've never met, it's hard to tell, so any story could be made up to explain away a yaoi relationship between these two.
